After inventing a new category known as fact-based television with the Discovery Channel, Discovery Networks International turned their attention to lifestyle programming. Karina Hadida developed the positioning, naming, identity, on and off-air graphics and guidelines for this challenging project.

After inventing a new category known as fact-based television with the Discovery Channel, Discovery Networks International turned their attention to lifestyle programming, and brought the same level of innovation to this line of business. Discovery Lifestyle Networks launched with three new channels in India, UK, Europe and Latin America. Karina Hadida’s efforts for this project included positioning, naming, identity development, on and off-air graphics and the introduction of a new network at Mipcom in Cannes. In addition, they developed guidelines, templates and visual archives so that every region around the world could create marketing materials that would be true to their brand while being culture- appropriate.
